What I've Been Wearing, and Where
See you on the other side!
NYFW is in full swing and I’m on my way to catch up with some of my favorite people, spend too much money on room service, and at times, question my existence in this space and whether or not I should have left Willa for the weekend.
But before we dive into all of that, here’s a week of very casual, very realistic outfits made up of staples in my closet.
A day of appointments: Daily tee, cotton trousers, and leather slip ons
Dinner to celebrate Freja: A drapey black button down and a new pair of vintage Levi’s because I’ve never once walked into the Re/Done store on Melrose and left empty handed, and an ivory leather bag.
Lunch at the Bel Air hotel: I didn’t expect to love these jeans this much. The fit reminds me of Khaite’s Abigail, but in a slightly more traditional denim fabrication? They run a touch snug and I see most sizes are sold out, but I deliberated between the ones I got and this elongating pair, if that counts for anything. Tank is the usual.
An early date night of shopping and sushi: The same jeans but with this great t-shirt (super thin and soft) and a cream cashmere cardigan.
Willa’s ‘parent and me’ class: There are a few pairs of these pants available here and here (I worked here in college by the way!), but any similar nylon pant are great for floor sitting and running around the park. Some good vintage Prada alts on The RealReal. This cotton pair also look great. White tank and black long sleeve around the waist (that I’m wearing on the plane as I write this).
A coffee run: These are the best sweatpants, and a matching terry t-shirt (I sized up in both). The shape of the pants are super flattering and I love that they don’t drag on the floor. If the terry isn’t right for you, they also come in velour and cashmere.

Speaking of…I recently polled my close friends on Instagram but figured I should survey the group here.
Lots more soon!

Ohh yes those pants are SO good
