Feels practical honestly. And thank you!

Wow you’ve forever changed how I see the canvas Idaho bag, now it’s just looking like a chic diaper bag. 😂 It’s that perfect reach in and find everything height, would be perfect if it had a zipper.

Love the boat bag though! You’re right it seems effortless and versatile.

As far as everything on your ‘to research/order’ list. Just keep in mind most people’s favorite items for baby they didn’t know to order ahead of time, but found it/researched it in the moment when they realize they needed. Ignore this if not helpful, but that’s what overnight Prime and drug stores are for. I’ve searched on YouTube ‘baby minimalist’ and enjoyed watching people try and narrow down to the essentials. Not because I’m a minimalist, but just because I suffer from overwhelm/perfectionism.

Also YouTube is great in general for baby or hospital roundups. It’s soothing to watch other people do most of the work. Like you do for me with style. 😘

Thanks for sharing as you go, absolutely love everything you do and know you’re gonna nail every aspect of mom. ❤️❤️❤️

I had twin girls and also didn’t enjoy the look of traditional diaper bags. I used a large tote (with zipper closure) and then used zippered pouches to organize the contents within so I didn’t lose my sleep deprived mind searching for the one thing I needed. I felt like bags with defined sections never divided the space the way I wanted to use the bag. Also I loved buying things that still felt like “me” rather than something from a baby store that I would never use once done with the baby phase.

I love everything you share. You have such lovely taste. Best of luck in the home stretch.

Yess.. a traditional diaper bag feels so one dimensional. Makes more sense to have something you can use for multiple purposes. Always love to hear from moms who have been through it.

Also- the Beis diaper backpack for your husband! We used this more than any diaper bag.

NEED to upgrade my husband's backpack situation!

As someone who had not one, but two, Row Idaho totes break on them (one in an airport, no less!) I’d advise against, but the nylon prada and toteme pieces would probably work great. One of the best gifts I got was an insert for bottles to keep them upright in a tote. I never found an official diaper bag I loved but still wear the big prada hobo I bought myself as a push present lol.

Omg no...did you have the cotton or leather? Not ok... what broke about it? Would love to know

The big cotton! Straps broke twice 😩 and honestly, I didn’t have that much in it- diapers and bottles and my laptop which for the price I think it should be able to handle. I’m a Row fangirl but I don’t want anyone to have the same experience.

If you can find a backpack that still feels like you, I highly recommend it as a diaper bag!

So I have 2 boys and did a traditional diaper bag and hated it. Felt so bulky! I ended up doing the LLbean boat tote and love it. Like mentioned above, I got some organizers and pouches to put inside and it’s so much better!

A vote for the boat tote! Unless the Gucci bag magically appears at my door, I think this is the route I’ll go
