5 Summer Night Out Formulas
Because the best season is almost upon us
Am I jumping the gun on summer? I guess I can’t help it…
I received this thoughtful message from a reader last week. And I figured sharing some simple outfit formulas would be a good place to start.
Hopefully this helps you answer the never ending question of “what am I supposed to wear tonight?” this summer.
Original Dressing for Saturday Night post for reference.
1. The obvious, dress and sandals
Not much explanation needed on the formula here.
2. All white
Again, fairly self explanatory but some thought starters pictured below.
3. Tank + pant + heeled sandal + fun bag
A revolutionary formula… a top and pants. But if you narrow in on this formula when you’re feeling stuck, it could make the process of getting dressed feel more manageable. Lmk. You could really mix and match any of these separates and make multiple looks work (potentially all of them…? giving you… 256 combos?). But when I originally put this together, I intended it to be viewed straight down.
