March Coverage
A month in review!
I’ve said it before, but living in Los Angeles does something to your sense of time. We’ve already had multiple days pushing 100 degrees, and if it weren’t for the countdown to this baby, and my ever-growing body, I’m not sure I’d have much proof that time is passing in a linear way at all.
And I would be lying if I said getting dressed has been easy lately. It’s been SO hot, and on top of that, I’ve developed pregnancy-induced psoriasis all over my back, and feel most comfortable in as much coverage as I can get.
I don’t have much room or energy to get creative over here, so I’ve kept it simple. Really simple with an emphasis on comfort.

Maybe it’s just frequency bias, but I feel like everywhere I turn I’m hit with balloon pants. Suzie Kondi has been doing them in sweat pant form, Reformation is unsurprisngly in on it, Chloé, Chan Luu. They’re fabulous for pregnancy but just overall airy, and great for warm temps all around.

I celebrated the J.Crew x Lee Jeans collab the other week. Two brands with serious denim history doing exactly what you'd want them to do together, and throwing a really good party on top of it. The kids skews from the partnership are not to be missed: denim overalls and a mini storm rider jacket.
Other standouts this month:
I stopped by the new Engelbert showroom in Beverly Hills and left with a much needed boost of inspiration. The line is Swedish, family-owned since 1920, and yet somehow still feels like a secret? They’re primarily known for their legacy knot, but I was immediately attracted to The Margareta collection, notably the Margareta cuff, and the Margareta ring itself.

As always, the Nili Lotan wishlist is long. FW was heavy on western inspired touches and layering. Silver belts, fringe jackets, boots! Sign me up for all of it. I’m extremely intrigued by a new denim silhouette from their current collection, a take on a Levi’s 501, the Briana jean. Can someone try them on and report back?

And some more:
Still Here launched their toggle tank, a clean, scoop-ish halter counterpart to their Sport Jean with the same custom toggle. Sonia is always onto something and I’m always into it. They also restocked their nylon pants and Sport Jean (dare I say, balloon pants?)! Both still available in most sizes.
If you like Still Here, you’ll love everything happening over at Claudent. I’ve raved about this line before and will continue to do so. Their clothes are all made from UPF fabrics which is great, but for me that’s just a bonus on top of their perfectly simple designs. Their button-up shirt is carrying me through pregnancy and somehow fit like a dream before too. The new structured short sleeve top is also very much on my mind, and they just dropped the most perfect summer dress.
Everything from Chan Luu right now is goood. The latest collection has you covered for any special or interesting pieces to wear on repeat all spring and summer.
