I Love Gucci
My audition to become a Gucci girl
Consider this a continuation from last week. I haven’t stopped thinking about Gucci and with all the talk around Demna’s debut this season, the brand has been top of mind. Gucci has always been a heritage brand that is rooted in deep nostalgia for me. When I think back to my childhood, more specifically, of my mom while I was growing up, the monogram print is etched in my memory. Most of my fashion affinities, are in one way or another, influenced by my mom, and her years working at Barneys in her late 20s and early 30s. So naturally, I’m still drawn to Gucci all these years later.
Most of my favorite outfits are comprised of something Gucci. A bag, a belt, a tank, a jacket. Some of my most treasured things in my closet are from them, and it’s what I reach for when I want my outfits to feel complete, and like me.

I bought this bag way too late into the night last weekend. I’m allergic to the term diaper bag, but I thought this would be the perfect, throw everything in and go bag, especially come spring when I’ll be lugging around more stuff than ever before. I’m admittedly not a logo girl, but there’s something about Gucci that I make an exception for.

Gucci forever!

I’m right there with you. Gucci has always been my weakness too. Have you been to Gucci Garden in Florence? It will take your breath away 😍
