Nostalgia is a word that I’ve repeatedly seen floating around lately, and a feeling I certainly find myself experiencing.
Nostalgia for childhood summers, by the lake, at camp. Simpler times when ice cream trucks, messy watermelon (ok, this is still a regular occurrence for me), and chips at a bbq sounded more enticing than rosé and lobster salad.
Maybe it was watching Camp Saie unfold, a recent rewatch of The Parent Trap, or just the warm, humid nights. Maybe it’s 4th of July around the corner? Or my friend sending updates from her week in Muskoka, but I am craving all the feelings that come with being by the lake.

I usually have a hard time getting behind over-priced designer baseball hats, (feel like I can’t be alone here), but there’s something about this one that could change my mind.
Rest hour:
Something I’m verrry excited about… one of my very favorite products released a new take on natural insect repellent. Made with citronella and lemon grass, the stone protects your skin from bug bites (and soothes any bites you already have). Genius.
