Goood morning. Popping in to discuss swoon-worthy leather, Khaite’s newest collection, Doen’s drop today, and the stores I visited over the weekend.
First, some essentials: a fresh white long sleeve tee, fully stocked here, ordered alongside my desert island eyebrow serum, cream socks and my new travel toothbrush. I know these toothbrushes are everywhere right now (weird sentence to be typing) but they really are nice. I like something soft and they’re gentle and pretty. The little cap is perfect for tossing into your cosmetic bag.
The Rose Inc leather pouch remains one of the most clicked and purchased products I’ve ever shared, (now sold out or I would link), but this buttery vegan leather one is nearly identical. Products that make it into my toiletry bag every time: de-puffing eye masks, this lip balm for extra dry hotel rooms, and this eyelash curler.
I happened to be walking past the new Khaite store on Madison Avenue over the weekend. I asked the sales associate when they opened their doors, to which they replied 5 minutes ago. A beautiful coincidence.
The dressing rooms were somehow intense and soothing at the same time. The combo of the music and pristine brassy walls made me feel like I was at a high end spa, about to enter a treatment that would most likely be painful but leave me feeling exceptional.
I’ve known this, but reading this back I’m thinking it might be time to seek rehab for a leather jacket addiction. I stopped by Veronica De Piante’s store over the weekend and fell in love with not one but two leather jackets, one in a dark red, and another in the perfect shade of tan… S.W.O.O.N. I regrettably don’t have a photo in either to look back on.
This black leather coat at Toteme was also dreamy, a much slimmer silhouette for the line.
And if you’re part of the Instagram channel, you probably got a notification that this leather blazer was an additional 40% off last night.

Still Here remains a must visit for me every time I’m in town, especially now with their Vintage Room at the Upper East Side location. I would have happily left with these jeans, and just about the entire vintage collection. But I stayed on track and walked out with a vintage Prada jacket that I’m planning to wear to Willa’s baby naming next month. The staff at the store is always so cool and kind, although everyone at Toteme and Khaite were pretty wonderful too.
The last few seasons from Khaite have not viscerally resonated with me, but the Pre-Fall collection, available for preorder on Moda Operandi, is doing it for me. On Tuesday I spoke about dressing for the life you have…but today we’re talking about dressing for the life I want.

I also love this models hair, but you will never catch me with any variation of a bang ever again…or will you?
Not my dream combination of calf hair…red... and an open toed sandal. Although I most likely wouldn’t be able to walk more than a block in those. On the topic of shoes I could never walk in, I’ll be admiring these Helix sling back sandals from afar. The luxe line of footwear was created by the shoe design director at The Row. Now these I could walk in. It was actually Christen’s insane shoe box design that initially drew me in.
Emme Parsons has a strong sale happening, and you already know I have a soft spot for embossed croc. Although not on sale, their stretch boot is a comfortable favorite of mine.
Cos has some good new arrivals, like this technical jacket and cashmere tank. Count me in for anything raw denim, bonus points for raw denim and a straight neckline. Not a new arrival, but this cable-knit mohair sweater would look equally good with a black trouser as it would with denim.
Doen has so many great pieces in their launch today. Debating between this dress in black or white. I know I will be livinggg in these pants come spring, probably worn with either this tee or this one. I also finally think I’m ready to embrace the color yellow. Who’s with me? Which one is it going to be?
If there’s one thing I love, it’s Kendall Jenner’s looks in Aspen.
I don’t think you need me to tell you that fur, whether vintage or faux, is having more than a moment.
Yay! Thank you for making it this far. More soon!
Ok the KJ look in aspen is amazing....BUT Willa's outfit?!!?! The real star of this post!!!
I'm embracing yellow with you this spring! I'm nervous, but we're in this together
